NEWS “Junk Dreams” premiered at the Anchorage International Film Festival, Dec. 5 – 14, 2008. AIFF takes great care of the filmmakers they invite and we were so honored to screen our film there to a packed house. Thanks to all of the programmers, the volunteers and most importantly the audience for making our premier so memorable. “Junk Dreams” wins the Accolade Award of Excellence” . This award goes to filmmakers who produce fresh, standout entertainment and compelling documentaries. It honors professionals who demonstrate exceptional achievement in craft and creativity and is considered a top tiered competition. “Junk Dreams” is thrilled to be honored with this award. The Herald and News writes an article about Ernie Borgman and Skye about the film “Junk Dreams: and about Skye’s progression as a film maker and cinematographer. “Junk Dreams” will be featured at the Ross Ragland Theatre’s Monday Night at the movies next November. The Ross Ragland theatre has chosen Skye Borgman to showcase her documentary and has invited her to have a talk back about the film. Other artists that have been invited to attend the Ragland are James Ivory and Larry Ferguson The Anchorage Press chose 5 out of the 150 films screened at the Anchorage International Film festival to showcase in their newspaper. “Junk Dreams” was one of those 5 films to get a fantastic write up.
